Club Ambassador Program

Build your network and get recognized with the Club Ambassador Program!

Inspired by Toastmasters District 84, District 68 is proud to introduce our very own Club Ambassador Program (CAP)! Everyday whenever we have an issue that we can’t get an answer to from our friends or our coworkers, we immediately search the web for it. Why is it that we don’t reach out to our district just the same?

We are a network of clubs that have the opportunity to grow together. Just as our club members benefit from the mutually supportive and positive learning environment in their meetings, our clubs should follow suit and benefit from that same supportive, positive environment that’s available district-wide! The Club Ambassador Program is our chance to encourage and recognize those Toastmasters within our district who take the time to continue to grow by experiencing the world outside of our individual clubs.

What’s in it for ME?

· New ideas to bring to your own club to help it continue to grow and serve its membership!

· Additional chances to work towards your goals and experience speaking in front of different audiences.

· Lasting friendships and meaningful connections to help you continue to grow!

· Recognition for your adventurous spirit as you help build our district from the inside out!

How to participate in the Club Ambassador Program

  • Find a club to visit, any club! You aren’t limited to your area, division, or even your district! The only stipulation is that in order for the visit to count towards the CAP it cannot be a club you are a current member of and it cannot be a club under your jurisdiction as an Area or Division Director. Area and Division Directors can still participate by visiting clubs outside of their jurisdiction! (Only one visit to a club will be counted towards your CAP progress per Toastmasters’ year.)
  • Contact the club to ensure you have the right meeting date/time/location and to sign up for a speaker spot or a role if you like, otherwise you could even just show up!
  • Print out the Club Ambassador Visit Form, fill out the top section and bring it along for your visit.
  • At the meeting observe, participate, take notes and have a good time! Make sure to get the club’s VPE or other officer sign the form for you.
  • Submit your completed form to the Club Ambassador Program Chair by either mail or e-mail. When the form is received and processed you will receive an email receipt with your visit’s information. As soon as you have submitted THREE completed forms you will be noted as a District 68 Club Ambassador!

All District 68 Club Ambassadors will be recognized at the Spring and Fall conferences and awarded a pin / certificate for their accomplishment during the awarding ceremony. If you are not able to attend the pin / certificate will be given to your representative Division or Area Director who will deliver it to you at their earliest convenience.
